Our Trip

In April, 2007, we started out in Singapore, then we took an hour ferry ride further south to an island in Indonesia - Bin tan. Ok, this was by far the most beautiful place we had ever seen. The air was clean and the beach was pristine. Crystal-clear water and the sand was soooo soft. We stayed at a Club Med and Sean got to do archery and trapeze every day along with the beach and pool play in the mini-club med for kids. Sophie also participated in the kids club but she was a little young for the trapeze and archery. She was happy anyway after finding a friend to hang out with.

This was our first Club Med expereince and I would highly recommend it if you have children. My kids absolutely loved it and because it was all inclusive Scott and I also loved it! This part of Indonesia did really not have alot to offer outside the hotel so if you're interested in Ria Bintan expect a lot of relaxing time by the pool and beach during the day and partying at night.
